SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- March 19, 2007 -- Mobility Electronics Inc. reported a net loss of $16,842,000 on $92,464,000 of revenues, compared with a net income of $5,007,000 on $85,501,000 of revenues during the prior year.
The losses were attributed to higher operating expenses of $41,039,000 in 2006, compared with $28,712,000 in 2005. The company's sales and marketing revenues rose by approximately 46% to $11,394,000 in 2006 from $7,812,000 in 2005.
